Distinguishing features include an attractive pricing policy, new supplementary activities and the participation of end users
FERROFORMA AS WE ALL WANT IT
The main aim of the campaign for the Ferroforma International Hardware and DIY Fair is to present a renovated event that is now more participative, more profitable and more closely linked to the needs of the sector. The event is to be staged under the motto "Ferroforma As We All Want It".
With the support of the Technical Advisory Committee, the event’s organisers have focused their planning and design work on incorporating new added value elements and adapting the event to current circumstances as regards the economy and the sector.
The three distinguishing features of the event, scheduled for March 23-26, 2011, are implicit in this message: an attractive pricing policy for firms (announced last June), new, supplementary activities and the incorporation of specialist end-users, a type of visitor of great interest.
A MORE DYNAMIC FORMULA
Ferroforma-Bricoforma is placing its emphasis firmly on new formulae: demonstrations, contests, round tables, etc. to encourage trade visitors from different fields to attend the event and thus provide more scope for contacts and knowledge sharing.
The preliminary programme includes seminars on "Logistics and Hardware" and "Inefficiency and Savings in Inter-sector Communication", plus the presentation of "Spain’s Best Hardware Stores: 10 Success Stories", aimed at hardware specialists. Logistics is seen as a critical area for improvement, and one that has a major impact on cost savings and efficiency in the value chain. The complexity and fragmentation of that chain and the effects of the economic downturn make it even more necessary to use new IT tools to prevent inefficiency, energise the market and make significant savings. The contents of this first block are therefore particularly topical.
Ferroforma-Bricoforma is also to convene demonstration contests on the use of tools and other hardware products for vehicle repair shops and professional installers (of electrical & telecommunication goods, air conditioning, heating, plumbing and industrial maintenance). These will highlight the latest trends in hand and power tools for cutting work, abrasives, adhesives, protective gear, welding gear and other products, featuring the top brands in each category.
DOING MORE WITH LESS
At a time when the main challenge is to do more with less, Ferroforma-Bricoforma offers new forms of participation, with more flexible, more functional modular stands to suit all needs, and all-in service package deals to make participation easier and more convenient. All these financial measures will enable exhibitors to make savings of up to 25%: this is another key feature in the ongoing commercial campaign.
